RASPI SEKOLAH provides student aged 7 to 17 years a structured and enjoyable experience of working with electronics, robotics and computational languages to help nurture their understanding of Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts & Mathematics (STEAM).
 
Rather than teach the disciplines as separate & discreet subjects, STEM / STEAM EDUCATION integrates them into a cohesive learning paradigm based on REAL WORLD APPLICATIONS

To MAKE SENSE  out of classroom learning, Computer Coding is taught in parallel with HANDS-ON ENGINEERING

Running in parallel with the school curriculum year-round with cross-curricular learning style.

Hands-on approach to teaching, enable students to apply knowledge immediately post-learning.

Learn by asking WHY not just WHAT, learn how to solve a problem or to trouble shoot when something does not go exactly as planned.

Learn to work as a team and lead a team to work. Learn to exchange and knowledge transfer.

When students solve real-life problems and can relate the Science concepts to their everyday lives, only then will they enjoy learning Science and are motivated to pursue Science & Technology at the Tertiary Level

We teach students by How the Computer Really Works !! Build Computer, Code and Make project of real-life applications. Implement the 21st Century Learning method. Combine the Mind of a Scientist or Technologist with that of an Artist or Designer to foster a true innovation.

 

The program is NOT about making every child to grow up to become a Scientist, Engineer, or Designer, but for them to grow up knowing how to think like one. Creating a workforce that is technologically savvy and able to innovate for tomorrow.

Raspi Sekolah integrate the application of Raspberry Pi micro-computer technology, the Western Digital Pi Drive technology as well as the structured teaching and learning resources by Seven Sense.

 

“Raspi” stands for Raspberry Pi. The micro-computer invented by Computer Scientists from University Cambridge in UK for education purposes.

 

“Sekolah” means “Schools” in Malaysia National Language - where this program was founded, tested and incubated by WDLABS of Western Digital Corporation since 2016.

As Pedagogical Approaches CHANGE, driven by technological advances that have the power to revolutionise how Learning is planned and delivered, Leadership must also evolve. It is NOT only about being open to CHANGE, but also being a player in the CHANGE process.

Through dialogue with schools across Asia, we noted schools often troubled by new technology they are not familiar with. The fortunate ones are equipped with latest classroom tools and furniture but not arm with structured syllabus & teaching materials.
