Pi XCHANGE
Pi XCHANGE is a program that allow students to work with peers across geographical boundaries.
Encourage collaboration, jointly hands on making project, solve common problem, build cultural understanding and empathy between different countries. Learn to live in a connected world.
From Jan 26 to Jan 28 year 2019, China and Malaysia students attended a 3 Days STEAM workshop held at IAB Genting Highland to learn coding and successfully make few projects together.



Using Raspberry Pi, students learned how computer networking works by jointly making a website that locally hosted (intranet). They learned how to use website to introduce themselves to other users and to attract “likes”.
Visited a local durian farm, learned about durian farming and challenges. Thereafter jointly make a project in groups that help durian farmer to receive automated alert using IR sensor - "Telling the farmer when & where to collect durians"



Beyond Science and Technology, students of both countries had the opportunity to engage in outdoor sports as well as exchanging local cultural activities. They take turns to teach each other.

On the final day, students of both countries work together in groups to create animated stories using coding that best summarize their 3 days of China and Malaysia experience.
Students group who performed outstandingly in the key result areas of 4Cs i.e. critical thinking, creativity, communication and collaborations received award and certificate.
